Stagecoach
The Stagecoach trail can be ridden in either direction, starting off of Russel Rd. in Auburn, or at the Confluence on Old Foresthill Rd. at the North fork or the American River. This trail is typically ridden by starting in Auburn and is used to access other trails such as Mossy Rock. Many riders will also start here in order to ride down to the Confluence and up Clementine as a way to lengthen their rides and end with a nice climb. One could also start at the Confluence, ride up and back down via a trail such as Manzanita, or cross Mossy Rock to the bottom of Fuel Break across the Foresthill Bridge. Starting from Russel Rd., this trail is all downhill to the Confluence, and conversely, all uphill if you start from the Confluence.
Trail Head: Either start at the top, at the parking area on Russel Rd., or ride from the Confluence at the North fork of the American River.
Elevation Gain: +/- 793 ft
