FATRAC's annual wine country bike tour, campout and mountain bike weekend May 7th - 9th
FATRAC 's annual bike tour of the tasting rooms of Dry Creek Valley and mountain bike campout weekend will be happening the weekend of May 7-9 this year. The date printed in FATRAC 's winter newsletter is incorrect.
We will meet at Lake Sonoma's scenic Liberty Glenn campground on Friday evening (try to carpool). Saturday morning, we will bike to the end of Dry Creek Valley and turn around just as the wineries are starting to open their tasting rooms. After visiting a few wineries, we'll stop for lunch at the old general store that makes great sandwiches and then continue visiting wineries on our way back to camp. Saturday evening, we'll share a potluck around the campfire. Total ride length is around 30 miles at a moderate pace on mostly flat back country roads. Sunday, we'll head to Annadel State Park for some mountain biking on our way home, and possibly stop for a late lunch or early dinner in Sonoma.
