This is a fairly simple trail, used by riders to get from the Connector trail head down to the Confluence trail. This trail is fast, with some tight single track and an amazing view of the American River canyon.
Trail head: Off of Clementine Rd., across from the Connector trail head. Elevation Gain: -200 ft Length: 1.07 miles
The Sly Park loop is a beautiful ride around Sly Park reservoir. The ride starts with a fire road climb, followed by a very fast and fun descent, again on a fire road. The fire road is littered with water bars that make for exciting jumps - just watch out for small tree branches hanging where your head will likely pass when you're airborne. This descent ends with some tight, loose single track switch backs. At this point, you've reached the lake, and the trail stays along the shores of the lake for the rest of the loop.
Pioneer trail is a very well built out-n-back trail which can be divided into two secions.
Starting at Harmony Ridge Market the trail gradually climbs for 6.3 miles at an easy 2% average grade all along the north of Hwy 20. This section of trail can be ridden by just about anyone comfortable on two wheels.
